Our guided tours in English take place every Friday morning. Tickets for the guided tours in the ResoArt Villa can be purchased in advance online on the Liget+ website, subject to availability in the time slot.
If you want a truly personalised experience, exclusive private guided tours are available. These special guided tours give you the opportunity to discover the treasures of the Zsolnay collection at your own pace.
The Collector’s House guided tours
The art nouveau ResoArt Villa, designed by architect Albert Kálmán Kőrössy, is a particularly beautiful building on the Városligeti fasor. You can also discover the beauty of the Art Nouveau villa and the largest private Zsolnay collection in Budapest.
The guided tours will not only focus on the era and the artistic disciplines, but also on the Zsolnay family, which 150 years ago created a Hungarian brand that is still world-famous today, and whose name is associated with the most sought-after objects that change hands at the world’s major auctions. The collector’s personality is linked to all this, and he will let you in on the secrets of his life, his motivation for renovating the villa and creating this special collection, the sources of the objects, his favourite objects and why he has not yet sold anything.

The Villa and the exhibition can only be visited during the guided tours, the villa is open on these occasions, individual visits are not possible. To visit the exhibition, you need to sign up in advance. The guided tours are held in Hungarian and in English.
